Medium state of hypnosis

Description:
Although the individual is still consciously aware of his surroundings there is a feeling of indifference to and dissociation from them; his body is limp and he is in a deep enough hypnotic state to accept subconsciously and respond to suggestions put to him by the hypnotist. Nevertheless, there may be a residual ability to make decisions or to try to direct the hypnotist's questioning.
