Total annihilation

Description:
The continuous motion first perceived in the pine-shaped heart and the arteries may be diffused through the whole body or felt in a particular organ. Perception is drawn to the reality being sought and concentration is on the physical heart with no consideration or mention of the name Allah, although attention may need to be fixed by taking the name Allah. The knowledge of the continuous motion is applied to the motion itself. This very knowledge is distance and nearness, presence and absence, annihilation and total passing away. The source of the motion is the heart; but when the whole body is blessed with this motion the reality remembered is applied to the entire motion. There is an experience of abundant effacement and ecstasy - the devotee has reached the state of "passing away".
Context:
