Superconscious
Description:
This term is used to designate the creative, intuitive, inspiring aspects of mind, and those which have positive and self-directing qualities. It is said to be the source of higher intuitions, thoughts, inspirations and feelings, of genius, and of the states of contemplation, illumination and ecstasy; and may be expressed in dreams, hunches, feelings, and intuitive knowledge. At present the idea of a superconscious is scattered among a number of philosophers, psychologists and other investigators of consciousness. It is believed that, if the concept is a viable one, it may coalesce with as much force and effect as did the earlier idea of unconscious process.
