Dyadic awareness

Description:
Awareness may deal with formless, qualitative aspects of reality. Consciousness loosens localization and attains a distributed character as may be experienced in dreams or during shock. Experience of this kind may either lose contact with ordinary awareness, resulting in an outpouring of subconscious energy (e.g. anxiety) or integrate into meaningful phenomena (prophecy). C. Castaneda links a fundamental dualism of either frightening or enticing character to all such awareness states.
