Consciousness of the reversible direction of time
Description:
The possibility that time could flow backwards has been advanced in high energy physics (Feynman) from experimental work with sub-atomic particles. Another approach resulting in the same hypothesis or postulate comes from experimental work with telepathy, in which signals were believed to travel faster than the speed of light. According to Einstein, anything travelling faster than light would travel backwards in time. Those with psychic gifts who claim to divine the past may have support in this theory. However, also according to Einstein, nothing within our universe can travel faster than the speed of light. Lord Kelvin remarked, "if living creatures could grow backward they would have conscious knowledge of the future but no memory of the past, and would become again unborn". In the theory of magick one produces effects because, violating the forward flow of time, one goes back to alter causes. A case can be made for the experience of reversed time in many parapsychological phenomena (hauntings, miraculous healings, precognition, etc).Broader:
