Awareness of angelic evil

Description:
This mode of awareness is focused on the destructive elements in the psyche. The Luciferian angeology projects a drama of fallen human nature in which misapplication and misdirection of libidinous energy is in the forefront. Hidden in the symbolism is perhaps a more important theme, one of dislocation, the suggestion being that some human faculty or organ is not in its proper place (as Plato wrote in the Timaeus). Conventional human psychology has required that human happiness depends on the projected "fallen angel of evil" being bound in a smoky, obscure abyss of repression. However, in this mode the binding energy itself is lost for constructive purposes. Therefore all legendary descents into Hades have had a liberating goal and it may be seen that the object was a release of energy from those regions. The risen Lazarus, still with his bindings, is an emblem of this type.
