When, though purification and renunciation, the lesser forms of energy in the human body (such as sexuality) are transformed into [ojas] (the highest form of energy), then this is stored in the brain and can be used as a source of intellectual or spiritual power. This power may manifest - [ojas sakti] - in leadership in any field. At the worldly level it is manifest by political or military leaders or by those powerful in industry and commerce. At the academic or intellectual level it shows itself in the founders of philosophies. And at the spiritual level it is the activity of illuminated beings who are the means by which the life force is returned to absolute consciousness.Related:
