Human Development

Transpersonal ecology

Description:
In terms of ecosophy and the awareness of the self in the widest sense, development is through the process of identification in as wide and deep a sense as possible. Three forms of identification are delineated: ['Personal'], referring to the identification arising as one interacts and becomes involved with other entities; ['Ontological'], referring to the realization of the 'is-ness' of things; ['Cosmological'], referring to the realization that one is united with all other things in a single reality, a single process. It is the latter two identifications that can really be thought of as 'transpersonal'.
