Spiritual initiation
Description:
Spiritual initiation can be considered as a progressive sequence of directed energy impacts. Each initiation is a process of energy transmission from a higher centre of energy to a lower, enhancing the sensitivity of the initiate and displacing lower patterns of energy. This sensitivity acts as an attractive force draws to the individual those forms of being which he can instruct and aid. These energy impacts are characterized by points of tension and lead inevitably to points of crisis. Each initiation is in reality a crisis, a climaxing event which is only truly brought about when the individual has learnt patience, endurance and sagacity in emerging from the many preceding and less important crises. It is a culminating episode, made possible because of the self-inspired discipline to which the individual has forced himself to conform. Initiation admits a person into some area or level of divine consciousness, into a state of being hitherto regarded as sealed and closed.Broader:
