Anthropocentrism

Description:
Although anthropocentrism may be seen as the imprisoning of the individual in a false autonomy which denies the love of God, there is a sense in which the centering on the self is the necessary prerequisite for departure from the self. An action is moral in that it is carried out by a subject grounded in God and through his own personal transcendence. Anthropocentrism may be seen as implying the Christocentrism of God.
