Opinion is very divided on what actually constitutes a human being. Some definitions include: the biological, chemical and mechanical components comprising the physical body; a being in the image of God, potentially having all the attributes of God; an organism capable of receiving input from numerous forms of energy and of altering its own frequency through thought and action; a receiver for every nature of atmosphere, thought, consciousness and energy fields; a person (man, woman or child), as distinguished from an animal or a supernatural being; a three-dimensional mass of energy with intelligence capable of making decisions and with the desire to evolve; spirit and soul - physical - perispirit (Allan Kardec); an internal and external balance of forces, a "human gyroscope"; an intersynergistic higher order of mental and psychic patterns (Beal).
