Agnosticism
Description:
This term describes the belief that God (or indeed anything beyond experiential phenomena) is unknowable to the human mind. It does not necessarily preclude belief in God - many agnostics have professed such belief, although others prefer to make no judgement - but holds that the reason cannot under any circumstances prove such existence. Emphasis is therefore on the experience of phenomena, objective characterization of reality being impossible.
