Ageing

Description:
The individual inevitably degenerates physically, and in behaviour and attitude, with age. As the body structure changes, so the senses become less acute, the brain cells atrophy and one becomes more susceptible to mental illness. It has been shown that these processes can be slowed down considerably by realizing that the most important factor is the mind, as this is the way of understanding how the brain affects the functions of the body; and by then deciding which factors in the ageing process one would most like to change. Diet (particularly the eating of fresh, "living" foods) is also held to be of prime importance.
