Thought processes

Description:
Thinking is the establishment of order in the world as it is apprehended, and in the relations between objects and between representations of objects. Each thought process is a result of autistic (self absorbed) and environmental influences and any kind of thinking relates intrinsic activity with external stimulation. Opinion has differed as to the verbal and non-verbal nature of thinking; at one time all thought was supposed to be linguistic but it has been shown (Vygotski, Piaget) that children are capable of reasoning by the assembling and combining of non-verbal acts. Thought processes are generally considered to be the comparison and association of similar or contiguous ideas. In a sense, thought is the interface between the external and internal world.
