Management of conflict

Description:
The management of conflict by maintaining means for containing and resolving it is essential for the maintenance and development of any human system. One method is to restrict the extent to which parties to a conflict have opportunity to communicate information on the subject, whether such "communication" is via force and violence or calculated falsification.
Constraints and alterations which conflict imposes on human relationships are almost more important than the conflict itself, conflict of loyalties being one of the most commonly recognized. Failure to manage conflict results in polarization and possible breaking into two or more systems (as, for example, in civil war or wars of secession). Such breakdown is particularly destructive with regards individual and social development.
