Using evidence-based health care

Evidence-based medicine is the conscientious, explicit and judicious use of current best evidence in making decisions about the care of individual patients. It is also a way of ensuring that clinical practice is based on the best available evidence through the use of strategies derived from clinical epidemiology and medical informatics.
