Description

Sustainable fashion can be defined in different ways. According to Ana Alves of The Vou, the most accepted definition of sustainable fashion by several sustainable fashion experts is:

"Sustainable fashion is an all-inclusive term describing products, processes, activities, and actors (policymakers, brands, consumers) aiming to achieve a carbon-neutral fashion industry, built on equality, social justice, animal welfare, and ecological integrity."

According to Kyle Kowalski of Sloww.co: "Sustainable fashion is often concerned with the environmental impact. Opting for fibers and materials that are organic, recycled, or repurposed, limiting harmful chemicals/dyes, reducing energy/water usage and waste, and overall choosing low-impact options wherever possible."
