Researching history of medicine

The European Association for the History of Medicine and Health is a high level academic forum at which scholars interested in the history of medicine and health, can meet, exchange ideas and combine for mutual assistance and cooperation. Members include historians of medicine and other medical specialities, as well as demographers, social historians and social anthropologists. The purpose of the Association is also the education of the public in the historical perspective of problems of medicine, health and disease.
