Redirecting occupational goals
Description
Redefining occupational responsibility in terms of service to the community. The catalytic effect is to ensure the individual is able to devote his whole day to building the future.
Context
An integral part of establishing occupational significance through structuring purposeful vocation and nurturing individual creativity.
Implementation
Tactics include: analysing community's particular social dynamics and structures; researching needs to create a practical picture of the social imbalances and contradictions of the community; planning structures to visualize the recreation of the community through revamping and designing the structural machinery; serving the immediate needs of the community through extra-occupational assignment; and utilizing consensus to involve the creation of a common image of community directions and priorities. An example is an assembly-line worker producing subway trains for relieving transportation problems of the city.
