Providing military security

  • Providing military security aid

Implementation

United Nations peacekeeping troops are stationed in various conflict areas of the World in order to, among others, provide military security. For instance, in Cyprus, UN peacekeeping troops act as a military buffer (military security) between the Island's ethnic Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot communities.

Over the decades, the USA has been the World's principal provider of international military security. For instance, the USA has had troops stationed in Europe and Asia uninterrupted since World War Two.
