Monitoring steel industry

The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe collects and publishes basic data on the principal trends and development of steel production and trade, consumption and trade of raw materials, quality and movements of iron and steel scrap, consumption of energy in the steel industry, steel deliveries to consuming industries and exports of semi-finished and finished steel products by exporting country, by commodity, by region and country of destination, export prices and production capacities for countries in western and eastern Europe, North America, Asia and Latin America.
