Minimizing social welfare benefits fraud
- Reducing unethical activities relating to social security entitlements
- Reducing unemployment benefits fraud
- Abolishing unethical use of social welfare benefits
Claim
There are few worse cancers in society than social welfare benefits fraud. In the long run, less money becomes available to those people who really need it. Taxes may need to be raised or money may need to be diverted from other government programes in order to accommodate such fraud. The same fraudsters may not pay any income tax, and/or may supplement undeclared income with subsequent benefits, and so on. Social welfare benefits fraud is a nasty parasite: it only takes away from, it doesn't contribute anything, and it weakens society. It should be treated as a parasite: to be expelled.
