Informing governments of young people's proposals

  • Consulting with young people
  • Increasing information to NGO's on the activities of youth

Implementation

This strategy features in the framework of Agenda 21 as formulated at UNCED (Rio de Janeiro, 1992), now coordinated by the United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development and implemented through national and local authorities. Agenda 21 recommends improving dissemination of relevant information to governments, youth organizations and other non-governmental organizations on current youth positions and activities, and monitoring and evaluating the application of Agenda 21.
