Influencing judicial leadership
Description
Bringing to bear upon the judicial process the symbols and principles of a globally derived concept of justice. The effect is a judicial leadership which begins to make decisions for the sake of all men.
Context
An integral part of recontextualizing judicial procedures through the establishment of a system of decision-making accountable to the demands both of the individual and of the global context.
Implementation
Tactics include: to create structures to evaluate the judicial process; to design educational structures for broadening context of justice to the global level through courses for judicial profession, use of media and the creation of symbols and rituals for the judiciary; to review performance by the comprehensive study of records of key justices and determine their philosophy; to provide new methodologies for decision-making and enabling the reflective and research work of judges; and to construct a model for establishing relationships with key judges in key areas and working out short courses and popular preaching. An example would be workshops provided for all levels of people from all over the globe, who take part in judicial processes, which would deal with the symbols of justice from all over the world.
