Wasted woman power

Wastage of the capacity of women in national and in family life through discrimination against women in employment and education has led to the waste of women as a productive sector of society, leading to a loss of a potentially useful working force. Women may be over qualified for what they are doing, or they may not be employed at all. They may be left illiterate so they cannot contribute to the development of their country.
