Social disguise of ambiguity

  • Social camouflage of individual effect

Nature

Society creates images that cover up the fact that human beings in living and deciding, always do so in ambiguity. The belief that ambiguity does not exist creates a sense that there are no consequences to one's decisions beyond the perceived one's, a feeling of omnipotence about choice and a belief in simplistic "either/or" choices. Man's freedom is thus taken away.
