Politically emotive words and terms

Nature

Words used in propaganda but often generally accepted in society, with emotive political and international connotations, have formed part of propaganda and indoctrination for many years, so that they immediately evoke a reaction of revulsion or resistance and hinder international or intergroup understanding and cooperation. Such words are often used loosely as labels without adequate definition, in attempts to create a false unity of all groups which are against a given "label".
