Parochial leadership posture

Government leaders have very reduced understanding of what society is and how it works. Despite the present interrelatedness of society, leaders still do not see themselves as globally responsible, but rather persist in functioning from limited and parochial images. Decision-making thus based on short-range and short-term results increases global tension.
