Lack of international communication

While the world today may be a global market in which every local community should be aware of its need to freely participate in the exchange of goods and services, participation in most rural communities is so sporadic that the individual feels unable to acquire the goods and services needed. The ability to obtain outside markets and have access to daily information concerning them is minimal.
