Distrust of professional service delivery
- Distrust of services
Nature
The distrust by experts of the whims of the public, and the distrust of professionals by ordinary people, prevents services from being delivered to the vast majority who need them. Specialists have become increasingly isolated from the poorest and most needy. The public attitude toward those specialists has turned cynical. Specialized language has also contributed to a lack of communication of needs and of available skills.
