Wandering mind (Taoism)

This mind is always stirring, producing myriads of thoughts even in quietness, always astir, never stopping. But even in the human mind there is the mind of Tao and even in the mind of Tao there is the human mind. The human mind is there even in perfected people, even a slight bias or unbalance makes the mind perilous and unstable. When a student of immortality discerns and keeps to unity, holding to the centre, then the perilous becomes safe and the subtle obvious.
