Ultimate transparency of spirit (Sufism)

Description

Although apparently blinded (opaque) through his physical nature, the individual's spirit is transparent at the summit of vision. Man takes on the colour of his surroundings - so that hiding the opaque self from consciousness but manifesting ontological reality and understanding its true laws he appears as the wholeness of all that exists, a reflection of God; catching sight of himself, the individual realizes he is a manifestation of God and "I am the truth" becomes "he is the truth", revealed.

Context
