Transformation game

Description

This board game is a joyful way of understanding and transforming the way people play their lives. It focuses people on the kinds of experiences that they can create, allowing them to observe how they respond, and how they can use the insights for their own growth. The game enables people to become more aware of their own strengths and to learn lessons that can deepened their understanding of how to operate on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. It can also be used as a powerful interactive tool, by both individuals and groups, for solving problems and achieving desired goals. By providing new perspectives on current life issues, the game helps people clarify old beliefs and attitudes and transform reaction patterns. It offers the possibility of discovering new dimensions and allowing changes to occur with greater understanding and ease. The game is a multi-purpose tool which can be played for fun or easily adapted by therapists, counsellors and professional facilitators to promote more in-depth experiences to facilitate decision-making processes.

Context

The game was developed by Joy Drake and Kathy Tyler through the Findhorn Foundation. It exists in initial and in advanced versions which may be conducted over several days by trained guides.
