Spiritual knowledge (Christianity)

This way of knowing does not use images or logical reasoning. It unites immediately and intuitively with its object. Love aspires to its goal; intellect unites with it as the fire and heat of love melt out into pure white light. Unlike mundane knowledge, this kind of knowing can attain God.
