Description
This state is one of elated serenity, arising as the yogin frees himself from the notions of "I" and "mine". There is inner equilibrium and self-sufficiency, when external events neither surprise or distress. It is closely connected with samatva – equanimity.
Context
One of the five virtues, components of niyama (self-discipline).
