Representational sign (ICA)
Description
This is experienced as throwing oneself into one's own crippledness, when one decides to rejoice in one's own inadequacy and receive it as the gift that it is. This is like Beethoven continuing to write music when he could no longer hear.
Context
In the ICA New Religious Mode in the arena of acting out one's freedom (the life of prayer) the third formal aspect is surrender to one's unlimited inadequacy, or petition. At the second phenomenological level, this occurs on recognizing one's own full participation in one's fate.
