Religious vocation (ICA)
Description
This state is experienced when a person acknowledges his covenant in the spirit with all who ever cared for creation, when he is called to display his commitment through a dedicated life in action. It is like Martin Luther King's "I have a dream" speech describing a covenant with all the suffering people of the world.
Context
In the ICA New Religious Mode in the arena of acting out one's deed (the life of doing) the third formal aspect is one's awareness of one's allegiance to those who act on behalf of life as a whole. At the third phenomenological level this occurs when the individual embraces his election to this life, this task.
