Primordial ancestor (ICA)

Description

This is the realization that one is called to carry on the work of many generations in caring for mankind and that this task will consume one's life, that one is called upon to pick up the mission of one's life. Nikos Kazantzakis, in his book "Saviors of God", writes of the Crimson Line that we are called to follow which has been travelled by many before us.

Context

In the ICA New Religious Mode in the arena of knowing one's internal sociality (the life of meditation) the fourth formal aspect is one's experience of missional comradeship or of having a colleague. At the second phenomenological level, this occurs when a person finds his selfhood audited by that which commands his attention.
