Expectant descendant (ICA)

This is the moment when an individual finds himself asking what it is that the future needs and what it requires of his life. It occurs when there seems nothing one can do and yet the question of what one intends doing is in front of one, as when the ecology movement raises the question of what kind of world we intend to bequeath to future generations of humanity.

In the ICA New Religious Mode in the arena of knowing one's internal sociality (the life of meditation) the fourth formal aspect is one's experience of missional comradeship or of having a colleague. At the third phenomenological level, this occurs when one dialogues across time and space with those who also travel this journey of the spirit.
