Persistent friend (ICA)

Description

This is experienced when an individual embraces the presence in his life which calls to a full life and makes that presence a companion on the journey. Then he engages that presence in a dialogue about his life and what he intends doing with it. An example is the movie "Patton", when the main character stands on the battlefield of Carthage and dialogues with the generals whose armies fought there several thousand years before.

Context

In the ICA New Religious Mode, in the arena of knowing one's internal sociality (the life of meditation) the first formal aspect is one's encounter with the mediator who pronounces personal absolution. At the third phenomenological level, this occurs when one dialogues across time and space with those who also travel this spiritual journey.
