Eternal saviour (ICA)

Description

This is the rare experience when a person's life is utterly transformed forever and he is never the same again. Such experiences may nurture and enable a person to deal with the great transformation occurring in his life. An example might be Helen Keller's reflection on the first time she linked words to experiences in her life; she said that she went back repeatedly to that moment in order to sustain herself in difficult times.

Context

In the ICA New Religious Mode in the arena of knowing one's internal sociality (the life of meditation) the first formal aspect is one's encounter with the mediator who pronounces personal absolution. At the fourth phenomenological level, this occurs when a person is sustained by communion with people and events which serve as milestones for his consciousness.
