Open learning systems

Characteristic of such systems is that the process of learning as it evolves affects the way in which learning continues, rather than being based on a fixed, predetermined step or series of steps. This exchange with the environment is typical of natural processes and living systems, and of human development systems with implied positive feedback as an intrinsic characteristic.
