Obedient son (ICA)

Description

This is experienced when what is required is utterly impossible and violates all an individual's social and intellectual training and yet he knows it is exactly what he must do. It occurs when an individual decides to be obedient to the eternal context of his life and not to his own will, as when Jesus said "not my will, but thine, be done".

Context

In the ICA New Religious Mode in the arena of acting out one's deed (the life of doing) the fourth formal aspect is becoming the symbol of the eternal context. At the third phenomenological level this occurs when the individual embraces his election to this life, this task.
