Journeying within transcendence - from death to life
Description
Salvation is not at some vague future time, it is now, in the present. In faith and acceptance of a relationship there is a meeting with him who has the power to give life normally associated with the last days and the end of all. Contrasted with the pervading sense of death in current culture, which invites suicide as an escape, is the impossibility of imagining one's own death. Perhaps birth and death are simply two aspects of the same event.
Context
The thirteenth section of St John's Gospel, Chapter XI 1 to XII 8, is related to a stage in the spiritual journey of the individual.
