Jesus stripped of his garments (Christianity)

The believer is aware of the pain of Jesus as His clothes are torn from His wounded body. He begs for aid in stripping away affection for things of this world so all his love may be placed on Jesus. Loving Jesus more than himself, he repents with his whole heart and begs never again to separate himself from Him. He asks that he will love Jesus always and that Jesus will do with him as He wills.
