Ishvara is God in the heart, lord of the universe the son of God, otherwise called the cosmic Christ. This is Brahman as interpreted in human thought, all gods and deities are aspects of Ishvara - for example, God of Christianity, Allah of Islam, the deities of Hinduism and, in particular, the trinity Brahma/Vishnu/Shiva.
