Initiation of revelation (Esotericism)

Description

The liberating experience associated with this initiation is that of freedom from blindness, permitting the initiate to see a new vision concerning the reality lying beyond any reality hitherto sensed or known. It is therefore an emergence from a tomb of darkness and an entrance into a light of an entirely different nature. Life in form is revealed as being death, so that form dies for the initiate so that he knows a new expansion of life and undergoes a new understanding of living. The significance which becomes apparent opens new configurations of loyalty and goals of a higher level of inspiration. A synthesis is revealed of the overall pattern of energies and forces upon which he can call and the nature of the opportunity it implies. The challenge of developing the will-to-good (spiritual will) becomes apparent, both in its comprehension and its use in world service. The individual is called to formulate his intention. Intuition, regulated by creative imagination, develops to further group activity in this light.

Context
