Inclusive comprehension (ICA)

Description

This is the experience of universalization of initial illumination, when the individual comprehends everything and knows what no one can tell him, the all-determining dynamic of being itself which directs the world of man and nature. It may be compared to first seeing the earth from the moon, it as was if we had a new vision of our planet and people began to speak of spaceship earth. It is like the Buddha after he has experienced illumination.

A dimension of this experience is a sense of awe, that is fear and fascination. The fear is in the sense of its fragility and that there is no reason to be assured; there is a sense of standing on the edge of the universe and of helping it unfold, and also a deeply fascinating self-assurance.

The decision is to risk one's self and be the wise one, to share this comprehension with the world around and not be shaken by what might be said or done to one as a result. There follows a radical self-confidence and knowledge of participating in giving a great gift to all of creation.
