Guardian angel (ICA)

This is experienced when a person realizes that, while he initially adopted someone else as his exemplar, he in turn has been adopted; that his life's work and that of his exemplar are the same; and that the exemplar will protect him from failure.

In the ICA New Religious Mode in the arena of knowing one's internal sociality (the life of meditation) the third formal aspect is one's experience of being given existential guidance or encountering the Saints. At the fourth phenomenological level, this occurs when a person is sustained by communion with people and events which serve as milestones for his consciousness.
