Description

This is knowledge in the sense of being known. It arises when the conditions of mentality-materiality or name and form are discerned by means of the round of karma and karma result and when uncertainty as to the three periods of time is abandoned so that past, future and present are understood in terms of death and rebirth linking. It occurs by observing specific characteristics of a given state, such as feeling having the characteristic of being felt or experienced. Its plane extends from delimitation of formations up to discernment of conditions.
